Dignity Day

Global Dignity Day

Global dignity is an independent,non-political organization. Their.Their project is the universal right of every human being to lead a dignified life.Basically this organization was established in 2006 by Crown Prince Haakon,John Hope and Pekka. The.The annual dignity-day is celebrated on every 21 October. We must build a new world. A far better world,in which the external dignity of every man is respected, regardless of age ,gender and social status. We in beacon-house celebrated Dignity day on 21st October, the purpose of this was  to make sure that every child apprehends that everyone has the right to live a dignified life and it's a fact  give respect gain respect. We had many thrilling activities in our school in which every student enjoyed a lot. We had a special assembly on Dignity day. In this, children performed role- plays which everyone watched carefully and enjoyed a lot . The students gave speeches about the importance of dignity. All the peons and gardeners were given roses as a token of respect and as a fruit of their hard work. They also entertained us by singing songs. After that assembly we had a dignity walk to spread the awareness and importance of dignity. Students contribute a lot in that walk by making brilliant posters on different themes of dignity.Really that walk was successful and had a great impact on people and the society. Global Dignity day in our point of view is an event which teaches that everyone has his own rights no matter what physical appearance or his social status is.We should respect others and become a good human being .
